The Andalusian Health Service (SAS) has awarded the joint venture MEGASISTEMAS – ALTIA this project, which will manage all the assets of the Health Network of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia in Spain.

The Autonomous Community of Andalusia is the most populated in Spain, with 8,500,000 inhabitants, and the second largest community in terms of area, with 87,000 square kilometres. It is made up of 8 provinces: Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Jaen, Almeria, Huelva and Cadiz.

This implementation is the largest project tendered so far in Spain in terms of Healthcare Asset Management (Hospitals and Specialised and Primary Care Centres).

This project, with an execution period of 24 months, will start in January 2018, and will involve the implementation of msAsset (MANSIS) in all SAS healthcare centres. The implementation covers 14 Health Management Areas in the 8 provinces of Andalusia, and approximately 1,600 health centres will be managed, including general and regional hospitals, specialised care centres, primary care centres, warehouses and administrative buildings.

The implementation of this project, through the management of shared processes of msAsset (MANSIS), involves controlling all the activity carried out in the centres in terms of:

  • Asset and Patrimony Management
  • Incident Management
  • Management of Work Orders – Corrective Maintenance
  • Conductive, Preventive and Technical-Legal Maintenance
  • Management of contracts with external suppliers – KPIs and SLAs
  • Purchasing
  • Warehouse
  • Quality
  • Works
  • Dashboard, …

The project also contemplates the integration of MANSIS with the different SAS applications that interact functionally with the assets, such as:

  • Purchasing
  • Human Resources Management
  • SAS physical structure
  • Active Directory
  • Scadas of the different hospitals, …
