The Hospital Regional Dr. Rafael Hernández in the city of David, Province of Chiriquí in Panama, began implementing MANSIS Asset management as an Integrated Asset, Infrastructure and Maintenance Management System in April 2013.
The population of Chiriqui amounts to 133 thousand insured and more than 31 thousand uninsured where they are provided with the services of Thoracic Surgery, Minor Outpatient Surgery, Nephrology, Haemodialysis, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Proctology, Gastroenterology, Dentistry, Maxillofacial Surgery, Cardiology Room, Surgery Room, General Emergency, General Observation Emergency, Echocardiogram, Ultrasound Radiology, among others.
In 1974, the Hospital Regional Dr. Rafael Hernándezwas inaugurated in David, Chiriqui and in 1975 by means of Law 15, with a capacity of 301 beds, the medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, dental and hospitalisation services were extended to the beneficiaries.
MEGA Sistemas implements the latest version of MANSIS Asset management (Hospital version) making the necessary parameterisations for the integration of MANSIS Asset management with the current computer systems of the Hospital.
This implementation will mean, through the management of shared processes of MANSIS Asset management, to control all the activity carried out in the hospital in terms of:
- Asset management.
- Integration with the Notification Management System from plant/services.
- Management of Work Orders- Corrective Maintenance.
- Conductive, Preventive and Technical-Legal Maintenance.
- Management of contracts with external suppliers.
- Shift Management.
- Purchasing.
- Warehouse.
- Internal quality.
- Works control.
- Control panel.
As part of this process, the existing data will also be migrated.
Likewise, the necessary modules for warehouse management will be implemented with MANSIS Asset management through the labelling of all articles with barcodes.
