The Susana Jones Cano Hospital in Panama has launched MANSIS as an Integrated Corporate Asset Management System.

In this way, it was the first hospital of the Caja de Seguro Social de Panamá to go live with MANSIS, forming part of the project that will cover all the hospital centers of the Social Security Fund for the Management of its Corporate Assets.

This project covers 35 Hospital Centers (Hospitals and Polyclinics), and the entire fleet of vehicles of the Caja de Seguro Social de Panamá.

MANSIS technology, as a multicenter and multicomplex management system, allows the technological infrastructure to be concentrated in a single server located in the central services of the Caja de Seguro Social de Panama, which provides service to all hospital centers in the country. All this will allow a grouped operation of all the centers or individualized by center depending on the interest at any given time.

During the implementation of MANSIS as a Corporate Asset Management information system, the following tasks, among others, have been carried out:

  • Inventory of assets
  • Definition and codification of group and subgroup trees of facilities.
  • Definition of the hospital by physical spaces according to plans
  • Rearrangement of warehouse and labeling
  • Recoding of items and inventory
  • Training of infrastructure department staff
  • Training of the staff of the requesting departments (ward, departments and management).

With this implementation, the following modules have been put into operation:
