The Hospital Gustavo Nelson Collado located in the Province of Herrera in Panama has successfully completed the implementation of the hospital maintenance programme MANSIS Asset management as an Integral Asset, Infrastructure and Maintenance Management System in January 2013.
This new hospital was inaugurated in November 2010 in the city of Chitré, and has had a major impact on improving the quality of medical and surgical care for more than 216,000 users in the Azuero region, of which more than 144,000 are insured.
It has a capacity for 150 beds, plus 6 beds for intensive care, 2 in isolation rooms and 4 in the coronary unit. It also has 18 consulting rooms and offers 24-hour emergency consultations and major, minor and outpatient surgery services.
MEGA Sistemas implements the latest version of MANSIS Asset management (Hospital version) in the Hospital Gustavo Nelson Collado de Herrera, making the necessary parameterisations for the integration of MANSIS with the current IT systems of the Hospital.

- As part of this process, the existing data will also be migrated.
In addition, the necessary modules for warehouse management will be implemented in the MANSIS hospital maintenance programme by labelling all items with barcodes.
