On October 6th the 10th Anniversary of INEO (Galician Association of Technology Companies) was celebrated. During the event, which was attended among others by the Regional Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment Mr. Francisco Conde, the Delegate of the Free Zone of Vigo Ms. Teresa Pedrosa, as well as various representatives of business associations, local government, partners, …, our General Manager Giovanni Giardina was elected as the new president of INEO, the employer of the Galician ITC Sector. The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector in Galicia has an annual turnover of 2,400 million euros and employs 15,000 people. Giovanni Giardina, points out the internationalization as the great challenge of this industry.
The objectives that are set in this new journey are:
The creation of synergies with other companies at national and international level. To give visibility to INEO’s companies towards final customers and public bodies. To achieve the best training for professionals in the ICT sector. Developing R&D&I will be another of the objectives to generate new and competitive projects, services and products. And to give support to new entrepreneurs, for the creation of new companies and jobs.
