MEGA Sistemas participates in the Panama Canal Authority’s First International Maintenance Congress

The Panama Canal Authority invests more than USD 3 billion in the maintenance of its infrastructure and equipment, with the locks being the largest item, not including equipment replacement, said Canal Administrator Jorge Quijano at the launch of the first maintenance congress.

The Panama Canal decided to organise the Panama International Congress as a way to contribute its expertise in maintenance issues, which contribute to improving the reliability, productivity and profitability of companies, according to the ACP’s press release.

The three-day congress was attended by experts in maintenance and engineering, who presented their knowledge and experience in the formation of a culture of maintenance forecasting.

MEGA Sistemas presented a stand at the Panama Canal Authority’s International Maintenance Congress where it showed the benefits and virtues of MANSIS shared process management, such as:
